Explore within the convenience of being close to home. Find attraction within walking distance from Omah Apik. Starting with the exploration of the wide open terraced rice fields with its Subak Irrigation System that is just a step away from our property. Ask the front desk for our homemade trail map.

Ancestry Site Visit

There are Archeological Sites available nearby for you to visit such as Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), Candi Tebing Kalebutan, Moon of Pejeng, and the Archeological Museum. Several legendary temples such as Pura Pusering Jagat, Pura Penataran Sasih, Pura Samuan Tiga, Pura Kebo Edan, and Pura Batan Bingin are available with different periodical festivals held throughout the year. Ask our staff about the current ceremonies around the village and invite yourself to one!

Fascinating Rhythm

A combination of music workshop (sharing session) and music showcase; usually closed with a jam session that is open for everyone. The monthly event is hosted by our dear friend, Nita Aartsen, Fascinating Rhythm features different musicians from all over the globe.

Clean Bali Series

Clean Bali Series started in 2007 through the publication of educational books for children. Today, it became a monthly workshop for kids from Pejeng village and its surrounding. You are also welcome to join us. The workshop activities including environmental-related sharing/learning session, traditional games, story-telling, and movie screening.

Festival Tepi Sawah

Festival Tepi Sawah was inspired by our monthly event Fascinating Rhythm. The annual festival is held at Omah Apik Pejeng Bali with support of three founders, Etha Widiyanto, Nita Aartsen, and Anom Darsana.

The festival features a wide range of Ethnic-Modern Indonesian creative and collaborative work from various disciplines of arts such as music, dance, theatre, cinematography, visual arts and crafts.
